RJ Visakh: A Web Design and Development Case Study for a PMP Trainer's Personal-Brand Website
How Teknoppy designed and built a website that gives an established PMP® trainer one clear home for his story, events, student proof and free lessons, with a simple path to enquire.
AT A GLANCE
About RJ Visakh
RJ Visakh is a PMP® trainer, speaker and coach who helps mid-career professionals prepare for Project Management Professional certification. His website states 15+ years of industry experience, 10,000+ professionals mentored and a 99% PMP pass rate. It also records that Lee R. Lambert, co-founder of the PMP certification, called him 'The PMP Production Machine'.
Alongside training, he hosts the PMC Conclave, held at SIBM Bangalore on 6 April 2025 and at T-Hub on 7 February 2026, and shares free PMP lessons on YouTube. His audience includes individual learners as well as institutes and corporate teams looking for a trainer.
This case study covers the website design, page structure and front-end build delivered by Teknoppy. It does not cover PMP course content, exam coaching or event organisation, which are RJ Visakh's own work.
The Challenge
Architecting personal-brand credibility, multi-audience navigation, and high-performance media delivery:
One person, several purposes
The site had to serve a learner checking credentials, a company looking for a trainer, a guest looking for event details and a student looking for free lessons. Each visitor arrives with a different question, and all of them needed a clear route.
A personality-led brand that still needs to feel credible
The tone is energetic and motivational, with a strong 'mindset' message. The design needed that energy while keeping the credentials, endorsements and figures easy to find and clearly attributed.
Heavy media that must not slow the site down
Video testimonials, event photography and YouTube lessons are the strongest proof, but they are also the heaviest files. Loading them carelessly would hurt speed, especially on mobile connections.
Events that keep growing
The PMC Conclave already has two editions, with more expected. The structure had to hold past events cleanly and make it easy to add new ones without redesigning pages.
Enquiries needed to be effortless
Trainer schedules change often and are updated on a rolling basis, so the most useful action is a quick, direct conversation. A long form would add friction where a simple message works better.
Project Objective
Teknoppy was engaged to design and build a website that presents RJ Visakh clearly, loads quickly and turns interest into enquiries. The brief centred on:
A homepage that explains who he is, what PMP® certification offers and why students trust him, in a logical order
Separate, clearly named pages for About, Gallery, Events, Testimonials, Blog and Contact
Video, photo and YouTube content presented without slowing the pages down
Endorsements and figures shown with names, roles and context
Direct enquiry options through WhatsApp and phone
A build that supports search visibility from the start, with clean structure and readable content
Our Approach
How Teknoppy executed content-first design, Astro static engineering, and friction-free inquiry flows:
Starting with the visitor's questions
Before designing, we listed what each visitor wants to know and in what order: who is this person, can I trust him, what will PMP® do for my career, what have others achieved, and how do I reach him. The homepage sections follow that order.
A story-led homepage
The page opens with a bold statement and the three headline figures, then names the problem mid-career professionals recognise, introduces the mentor, explains the PMP® credential, shows the events, presents student stories and ends with the lesson library and contact. Each section has one job.
A static-first build on Astro
The site is built with Astro, a framework that generates pages ahead of time and sends little JavaScript by default. This suits a content-led website where most pages are read rather than operated.
Media handled with care
YouTube lessons appear as thumbnails with a 'Watch Now' link, so the video player loads only when a visitor chooses it. Testimonial videos show a preview frame, and images carry descriptive alt text.
Event pages that can grow
Each PMC Conclave edition has its own block with date, venue, named guests and photographs, with a gallery page for the full set. Adding a third edition follows the same pattern.
Enquiry paths that match how people reach out
Click-to-call and WhatsApp links are available on the homepage and footer, with a short note explaining that schedules are updated on a rolling basis for institutes and corporate groups.
Search foundations built in
The site uses readable page addresses such as /about, /gallery, /testimonials and /blog, a descriptive page title and meta description, one main heading per page, sections in a clear heading order and Google Search Console verification.
